ASAP’s Mission

The Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Providers of New York State (ASAP) is committed to working together to support organizations, groups and individuals that prevent and alleviate the profound personal, social and economic consequences of alcoholism and substance abuse in New York State.

The Annual ASAP Conference, the largest gathering of behavioral health organizations in New York, offers behavioral health service providers, hospitals, community health centers, managed care companies and professionals from other service systems (criminal justice, child welfare, social services, domestic violence, etc) an opportunity to focus on substance use disorders prevention, treatment, recovery and problem gambling supports and how these services can be of benefit across systems of care.  ASAP conference attendees are a mix of program administrators and directors, clinical staff and other professionals from local, state and federal organizations.
