We have constructed a data repository utilizing SQL technology which is a game changer for directories in the addiction treatment field. Chooper's Guide allows a level of standardization for data types which is critical in achieving exceptional SEO (Search Engine Optimization). Each listing has a SEO Control Panel allowing the user to customize their SEO page title, meta description and meta keywords. There is also a zip code locater which will show all providers close to the one searching’s location the distance. People searching by keywords such as interventionist or inpatient program, PTSD. You, as the provider, will include your specialties as keywords which will help those seeking treatment find the services you provide. Chooper’s Guide provides our members with a password protected user control panel to manage all aspects of their listing. If you are a Treatment Facility, your listing level would depend on your marketing objectives and budget and the services and amenities your facility provides. The more services offered the greater SEO potential. For example: If you have photo’s(limit: 28), video’s and a brochure you wish to exhibit on your page, you will want to take advantage of those options Chooper’s Guide provides in the Featured listings as this will give your facility better exposure. .
I am therapist, but work in an office with 3 others. How should I create my listing? Under my name, or under the name of the practice?
You can create your listing either way. If you want to promote yourself, you should make the listing in your name, particularly if you may be changing jobs sometime in the future. The practice can be listed on your page or you can list the practice and have your name and include the names of your co-workers on the page. You can edit the page at your discretion should someone leave or you expand your practice. Hint - You can also create a free listing with your name or practice and then backlink it (your free listing) to your paid listing.
We have included Advocacy Organizations, Recovery Community Organizations, housing, legal, employment, vocational, educational and medical resources as acceptable types to be listed in this area. A Recovery Community Organization (RCO) is a non-profit that supplies free continuing support services to people in recovery in the community and is generally funded by grants, private donations and events. RCO's provide a structured, recovery oriented environment with twelve step meetings, other sober activities and medical, legal, housing, educational and vocational referral services. Please only list your services if you are one of the types listed above and are willing to work with the Recovery population. Other services may be screened by area addiction professionals prior to being listed.
