Program Description
Comprehensive case management is provided to meet the special needs of women (16-99) in the Toronto core area who are unable to benefit from other treatment services. Emphasis is on individualized counselling and support for marginalized women. The program operates within the principles of both abstinence and harm reduction when dealing with addiction issues. This alternative approach provides unique pre-treatment support to the women of 416 and other referred women dealing with chronic addictions that do not fit into conventional treatment program models.
