Mission Statement EuroHRN works to reduce the health and social harms related to drugs and the policy environment, by promoting the human rights and health of people who use drugs through collective advocacy, research and information exchange. Objectives The overall objective of EuroHRN is to expand the knowledge base of harm reduction in Europe, raise awareness of drug-related harms, and promote and support public health and human rights orientated responses to drug use across Europe. EuroHRN aims to: Facilitate networking at European, sub-regional and national level Advocate for harm reduction in the European region Map the European state of harm reduction and drug user organising in Europe Establish and promote models of meaningful participation of people who use drugs and their associations Through plenary sessions and capacity building workshops, the 1st European Harm Reduction Meeting will gather the network's members and concerned stakeholders with the aim of: Sharing an assessment on the harm reduction situation within Europe Improving the EuroHRN sub-regional networks (Southern, Northern and Central-Eastern European networks) Developing the European Drug Users Network; Enhancing the partnership between the harm reduction field and the local elected officials based on the experiences from consumption rooms' implementation Advocating for a drug policy reform Improving our networking and building our future together…
