Description

The recovering community is a diverse group of individuals from many backgrounds, cultures and experiences who support each other in becoming and remaining well. This program will discuss the variety of ways in which people recovering from alcohol/other drug addictions find a niche in the recovering community, differentiate their own identity from the identity they assumed while living in the culture of addiction, integrate an identity as a recovering person into their personal identity, and sustain their recovery long-term. This program is part of the FREE, annual Dawn Farm Education Series. For information, please contact Matt Statman, LLMSW, CADC, Education Series Coordinator, at 734-485-8725 or [email protected], or see http://www.dawnfarm.org/programs/education-series.
