Description

For many, stealing, overspending, and hoarding become compulsions for which there is little hope for change without specialized, effective and sensitive intervention. As with other compulsions, such as substance abuse, these disorders devastate individuals, families and society. This is a course about the pain which causes people to shoplift and steal, overshop and overspend, hoard and clutter, and lie, cheat, break rules, and take destructive risks; and, how you as a counselor can help the individual understand their disorders and help heal them from the painful causes of these compulsions ============================================================================= Presenter: Terrence Daryl Shulman, JD, LMSW, ACSW, CAADC, CPC When: 10/21/2011 : 11:00am - 2:00pm CST Where: Online CEUs 3 Cost: $25
