WHAT: Now You're Doing It - How're You Going Keep It Up: Maintaining Fidelity to EBPs PRESENTER: Nancy Hamilton, CEO, Operation PAR DATE: Wednesday, February 29, 2012 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., EST ABOUT THIS WEBINAR: Experience has shown that organizational commitment, readiness, and flexibility are all critical to successful selection and implementation of an evidence-based program or practice with fidelity. This webinar provides overall guidance for implementing an evidenced base program with fidelity. Participants will learn how fidelity and adaptation are linked in program implementation; understand the importance of fidelity; be able to identify implementation issues that might affect the fidelity; and learn checks and balances to put in place to ensure fidelity. ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Ms. Hamilton is a nationally certified trainer for Motivational Enhancement Therapy/Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (MET/CBT) and Family Support Network (FSN). She co-authored the evidence-based FSN for Adolescent Cannabis Users as part of the Cannabis Youth Treatment Study, funded by the SAMHSA, Center for Substance Abuse Treatment in 2000. She has served 2-terms as past Co-Chair of the NIDA CTN Steering Committee; Evaluator of the NIDA CTN, appointed by the NIDA Director; and currently serves as a NIDA Steering Committee member. Ms. Hamilton has provided EBP trainings internationally. This product was supported by Florida Department of Children and Families Substance Abuse and Mental Health Program Office funding.
