Through a contract with the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association is sponsoring a series of Electronic Health Record webinars to assist substance abuse and mental health providers in the development and implementation of electronic health records. Who should participate? Anyone working for a substance abuse or mental health provider who is an executive or involved in the development, implementation or management of information technology and the management of client records. Thursday, May 12 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM Introduction to Electronic Health Records (EHR): This workshop will address among other issues: • Why adopt an EHR? • What are the benefits of an EHR? • What are the hardware requirements for an EHR? • Q & A Session Presenters: Nik Garifalos, Vally Singh and Nish Thakker, FEi Systems Visit our registration page for the 5/12 event.
