Description

For the 12th consecutive year the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) will be hosting Recovery Walks! 2011. On Saturday, September 24, 2011 in Hartford’s Bushnell Park, thousands of people in recovery will offer themselves as living proof that recovery is real. Last year, close to 3,000 people came to Hartford’s Bushnell Park in support of recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction. I’m asking for your support. To make a donation, please click on this link http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/curtiss-kolodney/recoverywalks2011 The Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) is a nationally recognized, 501 (c)(3) non-profit, recovery community organization established in 1998 that promotes recovery through advocacy, education and service. CCAR envisions a world where the power, hope and healing of recovery from alcohol and other drug addiction is thoroughly understood and embraced. CCAR strives to organize the recovery community to put a positive face on recovery and provide peer-based support services. Please make a donation and help to support our Walk. In the spirit of recovery,
