Since the company's founding in 1969, Spectrum has been on the forefront of substance abuse and mental health treatment, helping thousands of individuals overcome addiction to lead satisfying and productive lives. Over the past forty-seven years, Spectrum has become New England's leading addiction treatment provider, providing a continuum of CARF accredited addiction and mental health treatment services.

Our treatment campus, situated on a 25-acre parkland site in Westborough, Massachusetts, serves as the company's flagship.  With 235 beds at three levels of care, it is the largest addiction treatment facility in New England.  Programming includes inpatient detoxification, short-term clinical stabilization services and residential treatment for both males and females.  Spectrum also offers these three levels of care at its Weymouth facility for males only.

Throughout the state, Spectrum  provides a comprehensive array of outpatient services, including individual, family and group counseling, medication-assisted treatment and intensive outpatient treatment. Spectrum also hosts three peer recovery support centers in Worcester, Lawrence and Marlborough where individuals at varying stages of recovery can attend support groups, obtain relapse prevention education, participate in recreational activities and receive peer support from others with real-life recovery experience.  Spectrum's full range of services is designed to provide ongoing support to individuals with mental health and substance abuse disorders as they transition to less intensive treatment modalities. 

We also have contracts with the Department of Youth Services to provide specialized services for at-risk youth at programs located in Methuen, Grafton and Dorchester, including the only DYS-funded statewide substance abuse treatment program for adolescent males in Massachusetts.
