Description

The Third Annual Florida REEL Recovery Film Festival

CHECK OUT WHAT IS PLAYING

Movies are a reflection of our daily lives. The REEL Recovery Film Festival – South Florida is an opportunity for participants to view new and classic films that focus on addiction and recovery and to discuss these exciting and provocative films from your “experienced” point of view.

This event is an ideal opportunity for treatment providers and businesses that support recovery to market their programs and services. Being a sponsor of the REEL Recovery Film Festival is an ideal way to promote your commitment to the recovery movement.

Floridians for Recovery, a 501(c)(3) organization, is an alliance of Florida residents that supports the recovery movement and battles to correct misconceptions and discrimination against those in recovery.

Over 600 attendees participated at last year’s REEL Recovery Film Festival in Delray Beach and had the opportunity to listen to dynamic speakers share their story. Their presentations were so well received that attendees asked for more!

This year, Floridians for Recovery is pleased to announce a partnership with the Florida Association of Recovery Residences who will be hosting a series of workshops throughout the day on November 8. Issues such as financial peace, health care, and job training will be discussed AT NO COST TO YOU!

Workshops will include

  • Money Management in Recovery: presented by Eric Dresdale, CEO of The Next Step Card
  • Navigating Healthcare Enrollment: presented by Louisa McQueeney a navigator with Broward County office of Florida CHAIN
  • Taming the Tension Tiger: presented by Gaynelle Gosselin, Certified Alexander Technique Trainer
  • Tools for Living Clean: present by Autumn Raab, Certified Holistic Health Coach
