Description

The purpose of the 38th annual winter symposium includes improving physician and health professional advanced diagnostic/assessment and treatment knowledge and skills specific to the addictive disorders as well as a broad spectrum of mental health and behavioral health problems. Attendees will be able to identify 5 or more essential evidenced based diagnostic features as well as 5 or more evidenced based treatment interventions (including psychotropic medications, psychotherapies, psychosocial treatments, EMDR, DBT, and self-help care) for persons manifesting alcohol dependence, PTSD, disabilities, eating disorders, co-morbid disorders, and other disorders included in the educational program.
